Dr. Janet Blanchard
Medical Director /Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
Board Certified and with over 28 years of experience, our Medical Director / Plastic Surgeon has an impressive list of credentials in facial aesthetics. Dr. Blanchard is now offering Botox, Fillers, and medical-grade peels. Dr. Blanchard is a Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon (American Society of Plastic Surgery) She received her Medical Degree from Drexel University and her Master's Degree in Pathology as well. Her medical training began at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. She opened a private practice in Mentor, Ohio, and thrived there in a very busy practice for 25 years. During that span, she performed all aspects of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Blanchard's endeavors also included a lot of Medical Mission work, not only in her area but traveled for 10 years to Ecuador and Brazil (through Interplast) to serve the less fortunate, particularly in Cleft Lip, Cleft Palate, and Hand Deformities. She also traveled abroad to present national papers and has received various awards including Women of the Year for National Professional Women, Top 10 Women Business Owners, and Woman of the Year Lakeland Community College. She has served on numerous Boards some of which include: the Hospital Board of Trustees Lake Health, the American Cancer Society Board, First Merit Hospital Board.
Her interests today have steered toward Cosmetic Surgery; i.e.; Botox, Fillers, Facial Peels, Laser Treatments, and Skin Care. Her surgical interests are facelifts, eyelid surgery, abdominoplasty (tummy tucks), and liposuction.
In her spare time, Dr. Blanchard enjoys staying in condition with jogging, and weight training. She is an avid Scuba Diver and also enjoys skeet shooting, boating, and tennis.
