With over 28 years of experience, Dr. Janet Blanchard brings a distinguished background in plastic and reconstructive surgery and facial aesthetics. As Medical Director, she provides expert oversight and guidance across advanced aesthetic and wellness services offered at Sirius Day Spa.
Dr. Blanchard is a Board-Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. She earned her medical degree from Drexel University, along with a Master’s degree in Pathology, and began her medical training at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
She later established and led a highly successful private practice in Mentor, Ohio for over 25 years, where she performed a wide range of plastic and reconstructive procedures. Her experience spans both surgical and non-surgical aesthetic care, with a focus on delivering natural, individualized results.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Blanchard has dedicated significant time to medical mission efforts, serving communities in Ecuador and Brazil through Interplast. Her work has focused on treating conditions such as cleft lip, cleft palate, and hand deformities. She has also presented nationally and received numerous honors, including recognition from National Professional Women and Lakeland Community College.
Dr. Blanchard has served on several boards, including the Lake Health Hospital Board of Trustees, the American Cancer Society Board, and First Merit Hospital Board.
Today, her professional focus includes aesthetic and cosmetic care, as well as procedures such as facial rejuvenation and body contouring.
